May Wishlist

Following on from my April favourites post the other day, here's the items I am currently lusting after. My final student loan day has been and gone, and I'm now awaiting my first full time pay check before I can purchase any of these goodies, so for now they are staying firmly on my wishlist and sadly not with a courier on their way to me. As always, every product is linked for your purchasing pleasure.

Since buying Essie Mojito Madness, I am loving all things Green at the minute! I have just made a sneaky purchase for OPI's Don't Mess With OPI, and everything I see in Green I am lusting after! This dress from Topshop has a gorgeous cut and I think it would be very flattering on.

I've mentioned lots of time before on this blog that I love statement necklaces. I think they are a really easy way to jazz up an outfit and bring it up to date, and I've been buying lots recently in a bid to bring my boring vests and sweaters into Spring with some neon and rose gold pops. This plaited number from Topshop ticks all of the boxes, White, Rose Gold, Silver and Statement, and the neon spiked baby is bang on trend so I'm sure you can see why both are firmly on my May wishlist.

In a bid to get healthy I have started jogging (I say started, I've only been once so far). I think motivation for me comes in the form of pretty sports clothing, and the Jack Wills cropped yoga pants and Highfield vest pictured above are the perfect solution. Once I own those, I will start exercising more regularly. (Hmm, I'm not fooling anyone here am I?)

You may by now be thinking "what on earth is that spikey brush in the middle of Hannah's wishlist?!". Well my friends, it is a product that I'm sure all of us girls need in our lives. A hairbrush cleaner, made by Philip B. Personally one of things I detest the most is removing the dead hair from my hairbrush, and I really dread doing it. Well, I can say goodbye to that with this brush, as it is as simple as running the stainless steel bristles through the hairbrush to remove build-up. Why haven't I already got this?!

I've been on the hunt for a new watch for a while now, and still haven't found "the one". I spotted this Komono peach rubber one on Asos, and I'll be honest, it could be a strong contender. I hadn't heard of the brand before, but going by the picture on the model, it looks the perfect size and I love the bright colour.

The final item to make it into the shortlisted products worthy enough of featuring on my blog is this gorgeous Diane Von Furstenburg iPhone case. It's available from Net-A-Porter for £40 and I love everything about it. The colours, the pattern... I want it now! (Veruca Salt moment!)

What do you think of my May wishlist?

Stuffster!

If you're like me, then you're probably used to hitting your favourite online stores daily, browsing the 'New In' sections and doing a quick sweep of the clearance to see if there is anything left in your size worth purchasing. I must admit I am a bit of a slave to the ASOS 'Saved Items' section, and regularly check back to it to see if any of my desired items have been reduced.

Yesterday I was contacted by Stuffster, an online wishlist website which allows you to set a target price for pieces you want to buy! Stuffster can be used on any website, which means the end of me checking through every website for reductions.. it's all done for me! I set up my own Stuffster account to see if this was worth the hype, and let me tell you, it definitely is!

To get yourself started, you add the "+STUFF" bookmark to your bookmark bar, and use it to clip items in the same way as Pinterest or Polyvore.

Now you're ready to go! Browse your favourite stores and 'stuff' your favourite items that are just a little out of your current budget. Set a price alert for the price you want to pay, and if it goes down, Stuffster will alert you just in time for you to buy your size before it goes out of stock!

I had some fun this afternoon playing with Stuffster whilst I was supposed to be revising (oops), here's some of the items that I added to my wishlist:

Tuesday's Haul

Hey everyone, I hope this week is treating you well so far.

I thought I would share with you some of the things, big and small, that I have purchased in the last week :)

I bought these three pieces from Primark. I absolutely love this clutch, I think it looks like real leather and a lot more expensive than it was (£6)! The only downside is that it only has studs on one side. The Navy top was also £6 and the chiffon polka dot blouse was £10. Bargain!

I'm a big fan of fur collars, so when I spotted this Navy one peeking at me from the sale rack I could resist! It was £12 reduced from £24 so I had to have it!

I'm the sort of person who always finds it hard to really like a sleeveless top, as I find they're always too low cut for me / too tight / too baggy. When I found this in Warehouse I wasn't 100% sure if it would look good on, as it has a really high neckline and slightly dipped sleeves, but it actually is a really flattering cut. I'm planning on wearing this tucked into a Black maxi skirt with my Brown Hermes belt when I go to Venice in a few weeks.

Nothing special, but an everyday essential I picked up because my old bottle had ran out. Batiste Dry Shampoo is a product I don't think I will ever cease to purchase, it comes in so handy all the time! The 'Wild' scented bottle is my favourite, it's more musky than the tropical / coconut bottles and smells more like a hairspray.

I've wanted a tiered cake stand for a while now, and with an upcoming best friend's birthday, I'm planning on putting on champagne afternoon tea so I knew I needed to find one sharpish. This was actually from Wilkinsons, surprisingly, and only cost £6.00! It was marked up as £8.00 but then scanned through cheaper, don't you just love it when that happens!?? Anyway, it's a pretty White porcelain two tiered stand, and will be perfect for my celebrations.

I put Yankee Votives in my wishlist yesterday (see below post) and I really wish I had purchased more! This one, in Clean Cotton smells so divine that I may well be purchasing the large jar. For now however, the Votives are only £1.80 from House of Fraser and provide up to 15 hours burning time, so they are brilliant for testing out new scents.

This is a bit of an odd purchase, as I have owned this keyring before. I bought it last year from Ted Baker in Selfridges for £12.00 but somehow after about a week of owning it, managed to lose it (I'm not sure how either when it was stuck to my keys!) so that was the end of that. I had tried to repurchase it, but sadly I never saw it in stock again. UNTIL... Last Saturday I went to Cheshire Oaks Designer Shopping Village and what did I stumble across?! My keyring! Haha.. Shallow I know, but it really did make my day, and to put a cherry on top... It had been reduced to £6.50. Happy Hannah.

Thanks for reading everyone, I hope you liked some of my purchases!

What have you been buying in the last week or so?

January's Wishlist

Hey!

January, January, January. Sales shopping aside, there are so many things I want at the moment! I've put some links to product pages on the names in case anyone wants to check these out for themselves :)

1.) Fulton Tiny-2 Abstract Animal Umbrella

This is on sale at the moment for £10.00 on Asos (An excuse to buy?!) and I have had my eye on it for a while. I have a cheap umbrella from Forever 21 in my handbag at the moment which fulfills it's purpose perfectly, but I can't help picturing myself walking underneath this beauty!

2.) NARS Nail Polish in 'Storm Bird'

I'm a big, big fan of charcoaly-grey nail polishes, I just think they look really chic and smart  and are excellent for a daytime / office look. I am yet to own a NARS product and have heard some great reviews so I'm keen to give this one a purchase and try it out.

3.) Emma Bridgewater - 'Black Toast' pottery

All of Emma Bridgewater's home range is gorgeous, but I have fallen in love with the above 'Black Toast' range of pottery. As all of the pieces are individually priced, it comes in a little steeper than buying your average dinner set, but bit by bit, I'll get there!

4.) Topshop Embroidered 'Yoke' Western Shirt

I'm no stranger to a chiffon blouse or shirt, so when I spotted this one I knew straightaway that I needed it my wardrobe! It's a pretty vintage style shirt with a quirky collar, but the sheer body and sleeves make it really easy to wear and dress up or down accordingly.

5.) Emma Bridgewater - 'Great Britain' 1/2 Pint Jug

This is one of the most quaint and quintessentially British things I have seen since the jubilee, and I think the print and the colours blend so nicely together! This is also currently on sale for £11.95 but sadly only 1 pound has been knocked off currently.

6.) Yankee Candle Votive in 'Loves Me, Loves Me Not'

I spotted these little votives in House of Fraser earlier on today, and with 15 hours burn time for only £1.80, these are a great affordable alternative to anyone who loves the Yankee scents but cannot justify spending around the £20 mark for a candle. Personally, I do think Yankee candles are 100% worth the price tag, but I will be picking up some of these votives to try out new scents every now and then :)
Unfortunately neither House of Fraser or Yankee sell this votive online so I cannot link you, so instead I have just put a link to the scent product category.

7.) Nails Inc Nail Polish in 'Haymarket'

Yes guys, spring is almost on our doorstep! To brighten up these short, cold and dull wintery days I want some pretty pastel nail polishes and as always, Nails Inc does not fail to deliver. Plus, this particular shade is included in their 3 for £22 deal... Hurrah!

8.) Jones & Jones 'Poppy' Chocolate Dress

I'm flying to Dublin next week for my friend's birthday and with a big night out on the cards, a special dress is needed. Jones and Jones were my first search, and I did not need to continue looking afterwards. When I saw this cute Peter Pan collar, gorgeous skirt and petticoat, it really was love at first sight! This is a Topshop concession in larger stores, but unfortunately they don't seem to have bought into this particular style. Delivery is pretty steep at £6.50 for next day (I think I've got a bit too used to my Asos Premier account!) but for £60.00, this dress is well worth the splurge.

Thanks for taking the time to read my January Wishlist everyone! What's on your list?
