"I'll have one Prada handbag, two Michael Kors watches and a Hermes belt to go please"
Today I read something that completely blew my mind. Selfridges are launching a drive through store. Yes, you read that right, not a fast food chain, not Costa, SELFRIDGES.

"This will not just be the first drive-thru service, it will be the best" - Simon Forster, multi channel director
This is such an awesome concept, but after reading a little more into it, you actually have to order the item online first then drive to the back of Oxford Street to pick it up. Sounds a little like a more hassle version of delivery if you ask me! It would be pretty handy if you were hunting for the that last minute designer item however, as you could order online using your phone, then swing by to pick it up without leaving the comfort of your car. Either way it's revolutionary, and I think we can expect to see some more high street retailers imitating it in the years to come.
What do you think of Selfridges Drive-Thru?
