Harvey Nichols Show SS13

Well, well, well.. What a busy week this has been!

I've been in London this week and been grabbing at every last second to ensure my dissertation was ready to hand in yesterday. In between this hectic schedule however, I did manage to squeeze in a teeny tiny fashion show, namely the Harvey Nichols SS13 preview!

Hosted at The Old Post Office, at the back of the Mailbox in Birmingham, the runway showcased the latest trends and looks for Spring Summer '13, featuring pieces from Mary Katrantzou, Marc Jacobs, Victoria Beckham, Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane and many, many more. The hot trends this season were divided into six collections; White Out, Colour Pop, Foil, Mixed Prints, Monochrome and Fantasy Frock.

Harvey Nichols SS13 Show

Next Thursday I will be attending the biggest fashion show to ever hit Birmingham, courtesy of Harvey Nichols. The demand for tickets has been so high this year, that they have upgraded the venue to the Old Post Office in the Mailbox, Birmingham, where last year's Style Birmingham was held.

Now in it's eighth year, the Harvey Nichols style spectacular has gained an enviable reputation for having the most fashionable front-row in the city, including regional sporting and media celebrities.  As Birmingham's most stylish store gets ready to show off their latest designer collections, it has become a must-attend event on all fashionista's calenders.

It's not just Birmingham that receives the benefits however, shows will also be running in Harvey Nichols Leeds (store), Manchester (store), Bristol (Bristol Museum and Art Gallery), Edinburgh (store) and Knightsbridge (Saatchi Gallery, Kings Road).

So what are you waiting for? Tickets are priced very reasonable at £15.00 which includes a champagne reception and an exclusive 15% off in store after the show ends. I attended the SS12 show last March and received a very lovely gift bag, brimming with Elemis goodies! Are my fingers crossed for the same again this year? Definitely.

Insta-Fortnight

Happy Saturday guys!

Time for another insta-fortnight, the post that gives you all a sneaky look into what I've been up to for the past two weeks. And boy, do I take a lot of photos!

Back in Birmingham : Pizza Express lunch with my bestie to catch up!

Today I went to Cheshire Oaks Designer Shopping Village. I had never been before and I'm undecided if it was as good as Bicester, but it was nice to spend some time with my boyfriend and grab a few designer goodies with a hefty discount at the same time!!
