April Wishlist

My wishlist for April has been on hold until the end of exams, because I've been trying to spend my time studying instead of shopping. That said, the temptation for an online browse has been too high and I have succumbed a few times to a quick (does an hour count as quick?) check of my favourite website's 'new in' sections, and several items have been saved until further notice.

As always, everything is linked for you to have a look at anything you take a fancy to!

I'm just about to start working full time again (I have already completed a placement year) so I am reviewing my current attire and trying to purchase smarter items instead of my usual casual university stuff. I couldn't quite believe that the Black Martley top above was from Jack Wills, as it doesn't follow suit with the rest of their collection, but I love it and it has been firmly on my wishlist for a while now.

Following on from this bid to polish up my look, I want to buy more statement jewellery pieces to jazz up a boring outfit on days where I don't have time to plan a whole look. Large costume jewellery esque necklaces are a great way to do this, and I am currently lusting over this one from Mango.

I already have a watch, but it's silver and doesn't go with all of my outfits so its use is fairly limited. I am currently on the hunt for both a large Gold one (my eye is drifting towards a certain Michael Kors one) and a smaller 'everyday' style one. I spotted this Marc by Marc Jacobs beauty on ASOS and I love how smart it is, without being too plain or boring.

My iPhone case is so tatty now due to constant wear and tear so I have been scouring online stores recently for a new one. Iconemesis is actually a brand I discovered through reading blogs, and their illustrated design cases are beautiful, if a little pricier than your average hard back cover.

Whilst browsing the Jack Wills website for the top, I also came across this beautiful floral quilt. No matter what season it is and how warm it is in my bedroom, I have to sleep under a duvet, and pretty ones always catch my eye. I'm trying to persuade myself that this is an amazing investment, as being reversible  it's pratically two for the price of one. Mmm, not fooling you either am I?

Ted Baker are my go to brand for everything. My handbag is filled with their accessories range, so it's no surprise that I love their clothes and shoes too. The Lissome heels above are beautiful and again perfect for taking an outfit from drab and boring to sophisticated and polished.

To this day I have still not tried an O.P.I nail polish. I know, I know, I'm a nail art blogger. I do own one of their crackle polishes, but I have just never bought into their brand for some reason. Well, things are about to change, and this Pink beauty is the reason why. Aptly named 'I Theodore You' and part of the Oz Great and Powerful collaboration, this gorgeous pastel shade will definitely be purchased very, very soon.

My wishlist wouldn't be complete without a kitchen product, as let's face it, I love all things homewares. This beautiful dish is by Emma Bridgewater and is quite possibly the cutest dish I have ever laid my eyes on. I wouldn't even want to use it in case of the oven burning the bottom and ruining the heart pattern!

What do you think of my wishlist? Is there anything on there that you are lusting over too?

Stuffster!

If you're like me, then you're probably used to hitting your favourite online stores daily, browsing the 'New In' sections and doing a quick sweep of the clearance to see if there is anything left in your size worth purchasing. I must admit I am a bit of a slave to the ASOS 'Saved Items' section, and regularly check back to it to see if any of my desired items have been reduced.

Yesterday I was contacted by Stuffster, an online wishlist website which allows you to set a target price for pieces you want to buy! Stuffster can be used on any website, which means the end of me checking through every website for reductions.. it's all done for me! I set up my own Stuffster account to see if this was worth the hype, and let me tell you, it definitely is!

To get yourself started, you add the "+STUFF" bookmark to your bookmark bar, and use it to clip items in the same way as Pinterest or Polyvore.

Now you're ready to go! Browse your favourite stores and 'stuff' your favourite items that are just a little out of your current budget. Set a price alert for the price you want to pay, and if it goes down, Stuffster will alert you just in time for you to buy your size before it goes out of stock!

I had some fun this afternoon playing with Stuffster whilst I was supposed to be revising (oops), here's some of the items that I added to my wishlist:

Mid-March Wishlist

With my dissertation due date looming and the end of university in sight, March has been a crazily busy month for me. For that reason, I kind of missed the boat with my monthly favourites and wishlist post, but there a few things (well, more than a few) that I am lusting over so I thought I would share with you my current wishlist anyway.
Everything is linked if you just hover over the slightly bolder product descriptions.

First up are these gorgeous bracelets from H&M. At £6.99 for this pack of three, they're really cheap and I love the Gold detailing on them. Paired with the watch below, I think they're a perfect addition to any Spring/Summer outfit and really brighten up your look.

I have to say, this Michael Kors watch isn't really in my budget at the moment (£229), but I have completely fallen in love with and I absolutely love the White and the Gold together.

I'm probably the last blogger to jump onto the Barry M Gelly nail polishes bandwagon, and despite lusting over Lychee and Prickly Pear, it is Blue Plum that has caught my eye the most and will be placed firmly into my basket next time I make a trip to Boots!

Sticking with the nail polish theme, I spotted this O.P.I Euro Centrale mini nail polish set on ASOS and am loving all four colours! It's not that often that I find a compendium or set where I like every colour, but for this I definitely do! Think summer days wearing White with tanned skin, and your nails painted in these bright beauties... Eeek hurry up summer!

You might be able to tell by now if you are clicking through these links that I am a little bit of an ASOS addict. Only a little bit. Well, maybe a lot. I saw these beautiful Bertie boots on there the other day and immediately clipped them to Polyvore to add to my wishlist. Made from moc-croc leather and available in both Taupe and Black, I think these are another essential for those British summertime days where the weather is not so favourable.

The last item that I have been restraining myself not to buy in the last few days is this Bright Yellow Zara bag.
It's only £39.99 which I consider very reasonable for a bag and I can already picture it on my arm! Trouble is, I have already bought two new handbags in the last month and my boyfriend ever so kindly bought me the Brown leather Harrods one from my last wishlist. So for now at least, I can't justify buying it. That said, a girl can never have too many handbags, can she?

In Love With Fashion Wishlist

The other day I noticed that Etail PR were offering bloggers the chance to win £200 to spend at In Love With Fashion just by submitting a wishlist full of items you would buy if you won. Having never checked out In Love With Fashion's website before, I thought 'what am I waiting for' and got cracking!

To be honest not all of their items appeal to me, they seem to have some really beautiful pieces and some that I would never really buy. But, this is the same with all stores, I love ASOS and Topshop but I wouldn't buy everything they sell! So let's not hold that against them ;)

Here's a few of the items that I really liked, no prizes for guessing that I love a dress with a collar!

Only the clothes are from In Love With Fashion, the other items are a few pieces I picked out that I would pair with the dresses / top. Everything is linked if you just click the description :)

You can check out the website here to have a browse yourselves, and enter the competition through Etail PR here

What do you think of my choices? Wish me luck!

February Wishlist

Good evening everyone! How is it February already?!

Here is my current wishlist, unfortunately I still don't own any of the Emma Bridgewater crockery I featured in my January wishlist post.. but I'm still dreaming! To view any of the products I have featured below, just click on the italic product name :)

This gorgeous Brown shoulder bag is a dead ringer for the Zara one that everyone seems to own, but it's actually from Harrods, and retails at a very reasonable £50! I think it's the perfect size for lugging my notebook, iPad and pencil case to university in, whilst still packing in the real essentials (make-up bag, phone charger, purse and mini umbrella!)

Part of the Spring 2013 Apres Chic collection, MAC Mineralise Finish in Stereo Rose is every girls must have bronzer, giving that perfect flushed yet healthy glow in one stroke. I have put this on my wishlist as it is currently SOLD OUT in all MAC Cosmetics stores and on their website (sob!), so I'm awaiting a fresh delivery so I can get my hands on one (or three..)

As far as nail polish goes you can't really go wrong with Butter London. The gorgeous 'Scoundrel' musky-mauve colour is perfect to take your nails from the bleak winter into the pretty spring-time.

When will my obsession with Yankee Candles end?! I'm really into the cleaner, fresher scents instead of the heavily spiced variety, and I would credit my two favourites as 'Clean Linen' and 'Loves Me, Loves Me Not'. However, whilst I was in House of Fraser the other day I caught a whiff of 'Fluffy Towels' which is equally as gorgeous and will have to be introduced to my bedside table in the very near future!

I spotted this Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Sparks iPhone 4S case' on Pinterest a few days ago and I love the colours and pattern of it! Very summery. Unfortunately I cannot find a British link for the exact colourscheme I want, but it retails on the Marc Jacobs website for $38 which is about £25. Alternatively, you can purchase a Black and White one from Selfridges here, for £30.

Nothing says Springtime like pastels. This Vero Moda Suede jacket is pretty much perfect for acclimatising to the weather change, and can be dressed up or down, with tights and a dress or leggings and boots. I personally love the colour, but it is also available in Hemp Sand, Rose Dust, Shiny Cobalt or Black.

The last, but certainly not least item on my February wishlist is this beautiful chain necklace from ZARA. I cannot believe this retails for only £22.99! I'm a big fan of heavyweight necklaces as they generally look more expensive. Again, this is a really versatile accessory, and can easily be dressed up for nighttime or down for the office or a lunch date.

What do you think of my wishlist? Do we share the same taste?

January's Wishlist

Hey!

January, January, January. Sales shopping aside, there are so many things I want at the moment! I've put some links to product pages on the names in case anyone wants to check these out for themselves :)

1.) Fulton Tiny-2 Abstract Animal Umbrella

This is on sale at the moment for £10.00 on Asos (An excuse to buy?!) and I have had my eye on it for a while. I have a cheap umbrella from Forever 21 in my handbag at the moment which fulfills it's purpose perfectly, but I can't help picturing myself walking underneath this beauty!

2.) NARS Nail Polish in 'Storm Bird'

I'm a big, big fan of charcoaly-grey nail polishes, I just think they look really chic and smart  and are excellent for a daytime / office look. I am yet to own a NARS product and have heard some great reviews so I'm keen to give this one a purchase and try it out.

3.) Emma Bridgewater - 'Black Toast' pottery

All of Emma Bridgewater's home range is gorgeous, but I have fallen in love with the above 'Black Toast' range of pottery. As all of the pieces are individually priced, it comes in a little steeper than buying your average dinner set, but bit by bit, I'll get there!

4.) Topshop Embroidered 'Yoke' Western Shirt

I'm no stranger to a chiffon blouse or shirt, so when I spotted this one I knew straightaway that I needed it my wardrobe! It's a pretty vintage style shirt with a quirky collar, but the sheer body and sleeves make it really easy to wear and dress up or down accordingly.

5.) Emma Bridgewater - 'Great Britain' 1/2 Pint Jug

This is one of the most quaint and quintessentially British things I have seen since the jubilee, and I think the print and the colours blend so nicely together! This is also currently on sale for £11.95 but sadly only 1 pound has been knocked off currently.

6.) Yankee Candle Votive in 'Loves Me, Loves Me Not'

I spotted these little votives in House of Fraser earlier on today, and with 15 hours burn time for only £1.80, these are a great affordable alternative to anyone who loves the Yankee scents but cannot justify spending around the £20 mark for a candle. Personally, I do think Yankee candles are 100% worth the price tag, but I will be picking up some of these votives to try out new scents every now and then :)
Unfortunately neither House of Fraser or Yankee sell this votive online so I cannot link you, so instead I have just put a link to the scent product category.

7.) Nails Inc Nail Polish in 'Haymarket'

Yes guys, spring is almost on our doorstep! To brighten up these short, cold and dull wintery days I want some pretty pastel nail polishes and as always, Nails Inc does not fail to deliver. Plus, this particular shade is included in their 3 for £22 deal... Hurrah!

8.) Jones & Jones 'Poppy' Chocolate Dress

I'm flying to Dublin next week for my friend's birthday and with a big night out on the cards, a special dress is needed. Jones and Jones were my first search, and I did not need to continue looking afterwards. When I saw this cute Peter Pan collar, gorgeous skirt and petticoat, it really was love at first sight! This is a Topshop concession in larger stores, but unfortunately they don't seem to have bought into this particular style. Delivery is pretty steep at £6.50 for next day (I think I've got a bit too used to my Asos Premier account!) but for £60.00, this dress is well worth the splurge.

Thanks for taking the time to read my January Wishlist everyone! What's on your list?
