My final week of university.

Sadly for me, I am now in my final week of university. This is it. No more lectures, just one solid week of exams and then it's all over. It's very surreal and almost sad that my time as a student has come to an end. Whilst I would much rather spend this week on my blog, I think it's more important to knuckle down and spend every last second I have revising to achieve those all important final grades. But fear not, I knew this was coming and have saved some posts to keep you entertained in my absence.

A few weeks ago I made three trips to London in one week, so instead of bombarding you with posts back then, I saved a few of the pictures back for this very week. I've also scheduled a few beauty and fashion related posts so keep checking back to see what's in store!

I think my only revision break will be to watch the final episode of Broadchurch (anyone else addicted?). That for me is unmissable and there's no way I'm running the risk of finding out who the killer is through Twitter! I hope you understand and please wish me luck! It's going to be tough but I have a feeling that my good friend Starbucks will see me through!

My Digital Marketing Work - "Student Life" Video

Today in my Digital Marketing lecture, we were asked to enter a university competition. The brief was to create a short video depicting 'student life', which would be featured on the university YouTube channel, and the winner would be the video with the most views.

As we had to submit our videos in groups no larger than four, I teamed up with my boyfriend, and our initial thoughts were to create a 'Draw My Life' type video, similar to those floating around at the moment by some big name Youtubers.

We got all excited and rushed to Tesco to buy some felt tip pens... only to come to the realisation that neither of us can actually draw!

End of Term & The Clothes Show Live

So the last week for me has pretty much blurred into one, very long, very hectic day. Last Thursday I had my final year university Advertising pitch, and afterwards to celebrate the end of a gruelling semester of work, my friend invited me over for a selection of my favourite food and a few glasses of champagne. She's a good 'un!

We started with mini caeser salads, bread batons, garlic and truffle oil mushrooms and a caprese salad. Mains were formed of pancetta wrapped chicken breast and potato rostis, and dessert was a calorific triple chocolate mousse with strawberries and sinking silver edible balls. Mmmmmmm.

My weekend, if you can call it that, was spent working at the Clothes Show Live 2012. Held at the NEC in Birmingham, I quickly realised that the glitz and glamour of attending the Clothes Show was a stark contrast to actually working at the event. 7.30am starts, 7:30pm finishes, long days selling shoes and smiling to the general public when your feet and legs are screaming out at you to sit down are not the best!

The show finishes yesterday, so we chimed out the end with a few glasses of wine and an early bedtime!
